Fancy winning some Penny Black goodies? Well head on over to the Card Patterns Challenge Blog, this week as Penny Black are sponsoring the challenge and you can win a clear stamp set and the fabulous mix and match card stock.
Here is my take on the sketch using Penny Black Bride & Groom 4167K and Letter Background 1999LK and Sentiments 30-025. The bride is wearing black as a friend asked me to make her a card for a wedding she is attending where the bride and bridesmaids will all be in black!
The letter writing background was stamped onto pink vellum using platinum Staz-on I then traced round part of a spellbinders label to cut out the shape and hand stitched onto the background card. The sentiment was stamped onto white card and cut into a banner shape. The heart was created on my Cricut machine and the centre embossed with a Sizzix folder; this was then distressed with fired brick and black soot ink. The main image was coloured with Copics and glitter added to her dress, glossy accents were added to the roses for a finishing touch.
Thanks for visiting, hope you get time to play along too!
