Salt "Rocks"

I spotted some Rock Salt in the supermarket this week and knew I had to buy it and see the effects you can get with distress stains.

The background to this card was created this way.

It is so easy to do.......
just add distress stain liberally to your card, I used forrest moss and then sprayed water over to give a wetter finish. I then sprinkled rock salt over the area and left to dry. When it was dry, I brushed off the rock salt and then to lighten slightly and add shimmer I brushed over the whole area with gold Perfect Pearls.
The Pin-Striped flowers were stamped onto white card with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured with Copics, after cutting out, the flowers were then mounted onto background using dimensional Pinflair glue and a twine bow added. The panel was then mounted onto black card and then onto white card blank.
