Frosty Holly

More Nature today, with this adorable robin from the new Penny Black Cling stamp Natures Best 40-076, I have also used the Berries from Berry Red, Snow White 4202L for a subtle background to the sentiment. The sentiment is from the new clear set Winter wonders 30-087.

The frame has been cut from spellbinders Lacey Ovals and Ovals using Mix and Match Sticks and Stones cardstock 02-002 .  This has then been hand stitched with metallic red thread.  the Robin and Holly have been stamped onto a separate piece of white card and coloured with Copics, the leaves then glittered to give a frosty effect and the berries covered with glossy accents.  (tip: rather than cut out very thin robin legs I cut them off and used wire!).  The frame was then mounted with dimensional foam pads onto oval card blank that had been stamped with sentiment and berries (used antique linen for berry red stamp and then lightly coloured the berries red with Prisma Pencil).

Thanks for joining me today and for all your comments, they are really appreciated.
