A Dapper Man at last

My Son recently turned 18 and when he goes out he scrubs up pretty well, so I wanted to reflect this in his birthday card.

Supplies

Papermill Teal and Black cardstock, Personal Impressions Premium White Cardstock, Tim Holtz Distress Inks Bundled Sage, Mustard Seed, Shabby Shutters, Broken China, Memento Tuxedo Black Ink,  Copic Markers E51, E53, W1, W3, W5, B23, B45, Y21, E04, E35, E37,E49, Plantin Schoolbook Cricut Cartridge, Penny Black 'Dash' 3846K, 'Scroll Background' 1766M, 'Pointille' 3860J, 'Sunburst', 3664E, 'Letter Background' 1999L

I stamped the scroll background onto teal card blank with Broken China ink.  I then cut ’18’ out of white cardstock using the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge on the Cricut machine.  I masked off sections of the numbers and then applied Broken China, Mustard Seed, Bundled Sage, and Shabby Shutters ink with a blending tool, then using the same inks I stamped each section with the Sunburst, Scroll Background, Pointille, and Letter Background stamps.  The numbers were then outlined with a black fineliner pen and mounted onto white card with dimensional foam pads. 

On a separate piece of white card, Dash was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured with Copics, it was then cut out and mounted onto the card with dimensional foam pads.  A faux stitch was then drawn round the edge with a fineliner pen and then mounted onto black card.  This was then placed at a jaunty angle onto the main card blank.
