Baby Buttons

This weeks challenge over at the Casual Friday blog, is all about Baby cards, details of the challenge can be found here.

I wanted to create a card for a girl and a boy for this challenge, so when I came across this cute button stamp in the Cling set 'Cute as a Button' 40-052, I just knew it would be perfect for the project.

I stamped the button background from the 'Cute as a Button' set 40-052 onto white card with Versamark ink and then embossed with detail white powder.  The top half of the card was then masked off and Tim Holtz Spun Sugar distress ink applied to the stamped area.   I then stamped the sentiment in the top right corner and coloured the words using a Dusty Pink Marvy Le Plume marker.

The Hedgehogs from the transparent set 'Bundle of Joy' 30-043 were stamped onto a separate piece of white card, the wheels were then coloured with Marvy Le Plume markers  Dusty Pink and Blush Pink, I found some cute little pink buttons for the larger wheels and coloured the hedgies with Copic Markers E00, E02, R20, W1, W5 & W7.  The hedgies were then fussy cut and mounted onto the main background with foam pads.  I then double mounted onto white card.
