Wedding Words

One last card for this week's Casual Friday Challenge, where the sentiment is the focal point; details of the challenge can be found here.

I needed a wedding card and found this perfect sentiment 'Full of Life' 3641F from Penny Black, to ensure that the sentiment took centre stage I stamped the 'Bride and Groom' 4167K in Memento London Fog ink and then lightly coloured with Copics B0000, B00 and E00.

A few gems were added, what would be a wedding without a bit of sparkle! It was then mounted onto 'Clear Skies' 10-002 Mix and Match Cardstock and then layered onto Penny Black's 'Scroll White' ep401 embossed paper.

Check back tomorrow for some Mimi inspiration.

Hugs Cathy

Beautifully effective with the restrained use of the gems for the flowers & the delicate shading of the sketchy image. The mounting on the embossed paper lends a sense of decadence to the creation (white damask tablecloth springs to mind) & I particularly like the soft effect of stamping with the London Fog.
