As I grew up, I loved playing in fancy dress, and then when I had my own children; I took great pleasure in creating fancy dress clothes for them to wear. So it seemed a natural progression for me to create a fancy dress outfit for Mimi.
I stamped the head of Mimi (the one juggling eggs) from the transparent set 'Spring Day' 30-099 and then the body a little further down, coloured her with Copic markers and then cut out using a Spellbinders Oval Die (the sky and bottom of the grass was chalked to get a soft effect). I then stamped 'Sunshine' 4235L onto scratch card and coloured with inktense watercolour pencils, I cut out the middle and petals to create a frame for her face.
This was then mounted onto a Spellbinders Floral Ovals die cut using 'Spring Meadow' 06-002mix and match card stock, this was then mounted onto a 'Spring Meadow' 06-001 card blank that had been stamped with the tiny flower in the 'Salutations' 30-014 set.
I am sure Mimi enjoys dress up! I also wish to enter Mimi in the Lily Pad challenge here.

It certainly looks like Mimi enjoyed that transformation! I laughed when I saw this - what a super idea with that flower! The green edging of the die-cut picks up beautifully on the pleats & edging of her dresss too.
