Part Two of Two for the Price of One

Today I thought I would make a clean and simple card using birds for this weeks CAS-ual Friday blog here.

As I thought of my design I was left with a scrap punch out of a bird and couldn't bear to throw it away and so decided to make a second card.

I stamped Penny Black's 'Scrolling Along' 3812J with Memento Bamboo Leaves ink and lightly coloured the leaves with Copic G40 Dim Green and the flowers with Honey Y38.  The centres of the flowers were dotted with Cantaloupe Liquid Pearls. The bird was mounted with a foam pad (see part one on how the bird was created) with his tail feathers grounded and the sentiment from 'Gratitude' 30-105 stamped with Bamboo Leaves ink; to finish off the design was edged with a fine green marker and mounted onto a white card blank with dimensional foam pads.

Thanks for visiting me and for all your lovely comments.
Hugs Cathy
