Dads are proud fellows and what could be nicer than to give them a personalised photo frame for father's day.
To create this frame I coloured some white card with Memento Cantaloupe ink and a dauber to create the outer frame and photo base (used heavier pressure to get photo base darker). I then stamped over with same ink using 'Puzzle Parts' 30-114 and cut the aperture just fractionally larger than the photo, so that the darker border would show through.
On separate piece of white card the hedgehog was stamped from 'Hedgie Friends' 30-101 with Memento Black ink and coloured with Copics; C00, C1, C3, C5, C7, R00, R22, YR21, YR12 & YR18. I then cut it out leaving a small white border around the edge and added to the frame with dimensional foam pads. The sentiment was then stamped onto a separate scrap of white card using "the best" from 'A Bear Of All Trades' 30-108 and "dad" from 'Words Express' 30-106, trimmed and added to card. The top banner is the scrap left over from the One Layer Card on Tuesday, that can be seen here.
To support the frame in an upright position I cut an easel back and trimmed to a smaller size using the Tim Holtz Small Easel die.
So to all Dads out there, know you are appreciated for all you do.
Hugs Cathy

Great idea, and so beautifully made! Jo x
Love the way that orange die-cut looks like a canopy over a window & accents the patterning of Puzzle Parts.
Your positioning is brilliant with the little lad appearing to be looking at/communicating with the little hedgie.
