Focus on Fall

I made this card for the Moxie Fab challenge of using the theory Gallon (Orange in this example), Quart (The Green), Pint (The Brown) here (the white does not count as it is neutral. This also incorporates the rules for the Asymetry Challenge here, as the pumpkins are balanced by the sentiment. I decided to put together a card using the leaves left over from this project here  from earlier in the week using 'Autumn Time' 40-149 and the 'Pumpkins' 40-145 cling.

I stamped the pumpkins with Memento Rich Cocoa Ink and then coloured them with Copic Markers, they were then cut out and shaped using an embossing tool.  For details on how to stamp and colour the leaves see this post.

Both elements were then adhered to a piece of 'Storm' 01-001 Mix and Match Card that had been cut and embossed using Spellbinders Grand Squares; using Foam pads and dimensional glue.  The sentiment from 'Foliage Fancy' 30-138 was then stamped using Coffee Bean Brilliance Ink and the edges of the card faux stitched using a Pitt Dark Sepia Pen 175.  This was then mounted onto 'Fern Green' 05-002 Mix and Match Cardstock and then mounted onto a square card blank again using 'Storm' Mix and Match Card.

The design team over at Penny Black are also focusing on fall cards today, to see the amazing creations check out the blog here.

Thanks for visiting me today, I hope you were inspired to create something this weekend.

It's terrific seeing your progression through the Moxie Fab challenges & the way you doodled the two corners only this time. The colouring is quite delicious & I love the dimension of those pumpkins.
