What could be more perfect to create movement than falling leaves!
I took the leaves from the Penny Black Cling Stamp 'Autumn Time' 40-149. I stamped the image onto white paper using Memento Rich Cocoa, Potters Clay, Tangelo and Rhubarb Stalk. I then sponged the leaves with these colours and the lighter shades Cantaloupe and Ladybug Red.
The leaves were then cut out using detail scissors.
Goose Bumps was then sprayed on the leaves to give them a shimmer.
The leaves were then shaped with an embossing tool and adhered to 'Storm' Mix and Match card that had been cut using Spellbinders Grand Square Dies, to give height to the leaves dimensional glue was used.
The leaf pile was grounded using brown watercolour paint and then the sentiment stamped from 'Foliage Fancy' 30-138. To finish off faux stitching was added to the edge and then the panel mounted onto 'Sticks and Stones' 02-003 Mix and Match Card.
One thing they ask in the publication is how could you make it better? If I were to make this card again I would only do the faux stitching on the bottom and right side of the card to draw the eye more to the end.
Thanks for visiting me today and thank you for all your wonderful comments.

Wow, this must have taken ages - and it looks wonderful, Jo x
The colours are exquisite & I love the dimension of this. Movement is definitely captured in this & yes, you're right about the stitching amendment - but I only saw that when you mentioned it. It's great how all creations are part of learning.
