Home for Christmas

Hello, today is your last chance to enter into my giveaway, full details of the prize and how to enter can be found here.  I think I am going to be very busy writing everyones names on slips of paper tomorrow, thank you all for the amazing responses, to gain an extra entry today please leave a comment at the end of this post.

Today I have a little Christmas card to share using the 'Silent Night' 30-135 transparent stamp set and the sentiment from 'Christmas Cheer' 30-140 (I think this works beautifully with this image).

I stamped the houses onto Kraft card, coloured with Prisma Pencils and blended with zest it oil and then cut into three pieces (this way I was able to bring the middle two buildings forward using foam pads to add depth).  I then embossed a piece of white card using the square Spellbinders die to add a frame to the card and stamped the star and sentiment in black ink.  I added a gem to the centre of the star and then added the buildings with the front two raised up using foam pads.

Don't forget to check out the Penny Black Blog for more giveaway goodness every day this week and to see the new stamps in the supplemental release.

Love the way you've added dimension to this very classic scene & the added touch with the gem for the star is perfect. Again the dry embossing gives a beatiful professional finish.

Great card! I have never heard of blending that way?! I use colored pencils all the time because I don't have copics so I always find it interesting when I hear something new. Also neat that you colored on kraft. Great look. Thank you for sharing.
