Feel Better

My husband mentioned that a work colleague needed to have an operation and would be off work for quite a long time and that his team wanted to give her a card saying I hope you get well soon.

So I printed the sentiment onto white card and then cut out with and embossed with Spellbinders Labels  Twenty Five.

Hope you feel Better Soon

The background was then inked with Bundled Sage Distress ink and Breezy 40-111 was stamped and then re-stamped with out inking to get the shadow effect.

This was then mounted onto Fuchsia Fantasies 13-001mix and match card that had been embossed with a leaf texture plate and a gathered ribbon added. This was then placed onto a white card blank.

The butterfly from Soft Wings 40-099 was then stamped onto a separate piece of card and coloured with Design Memory Craft Faber Castell Big Brush markers; Manganese Violet, Pink Madder Lake cut out and diamond stickles added to add a bit of glitz!

I wish her a speedy recovery.....

Hugs Cathy

This is beautifully feminine & such a lovely thoughtful card. The decadent green ribbon echoes the green ferns superbly & I love the re-stamping technique you used.

This is one of the most beautiful get well cards I've ever seen! Surely will give her a lift! How did you cut out the antennas of the butterfly? I always struggle & yours looks perfect!

Hi Greta, ok here is the secret to the antenna, I cut off the stamped ones and glue thin wire ones to the back of the butterfly, it saves a lot of time and hassle. :)
