Rainbow Rain

Hi everyone, this month is just flying by, I can't believe we are already nearly a quarter of the way through the year! So far my main memory for the year is how wet it has been here in the UK, I don't think I have ever seen so much rain, but with every cloud there is a silver lining and mine is in the form of rainbow rain..........

Rainbow Rain

This card uses April Showers 30-172, Kate's Alphabet 30-168 and Rose Garden 14-002.

The rain was created from a template created using a Memory Box die 'A Little Rain' (Thank you Kathy Racoosin) which was coloured with Design Memorycraft Faber Castell Stampers Big Brush Markers in May Green, Madder Pink, Cobalt Blue, Orange Glaze, Chrome Yellow, Violet and Red and then each raindrop was covered with glossy accents to give it a raised texture.

The same colours were used for the umbrella along with Cool GreyIII.  To finish off I did a row of faux stitching using a black Edding Jelly Marker pen.

I hope that were ever you are the weather is treating you kindly.
Happy Monday!
Hugs Cathy

Extra water is something to celebrate...better than extra dry.

I love your rainbow rain & flowers combined with the dimension of those clouds. Your rain looks far more inviting than the slush sleet & wind we have in the Beacons.

It is still warm and dry here, well into Autumn!
