Peppa Pig Birthday Wishes

I find it a fun challenge when I am asked to create a card for a someone with a specific character, this card was designed for a little girl who adores Peppa Pig! As Peppa is pink, I also decided to enter this in the PanPastel® UK Challenge Blog details of their current challenge can be found here.

The card blank was cut and embossed using Pearl White card and Spellbinders 5" x 7" Matting Basics A, I then stamped Dots in Space 40-144 with Versamark ink and Embossed with WOW clear sparkle embossing powder whilst it was still in the die (this way you have a clean white border).

The sentiment was printed on the computer and the flowers from  Garden Assistant 40-236 stamped.  The background was distressed with Tim Holtz Mowed Lawn and Tumbled Glass inks and the sentiment glittered with Crystal Stickles. The image was then cut using Spellbinders Classic Ovals Lg S4-110.

The frame was also cut using Classic Ovals Lg and Lacey Ovals S4-314, Peppa Pig was printed on the computer, cut out and Glitter, Gems and Wiggly Eyes added.  A few butterflies were punched using a Martha Stewart Punch and gems and twine added to finish.
