Time To Play

A couple of years ago at CHA I saw a sample board created by Angela Kennedy on the Penny Black stand, on it was a hand drawn image of a girl, which I fell in love with.  I asked the owner at Penny Black if she could persuade Angela to do a line of stamps like the image I fell in love with and low and behold this summer Penny Black delivered with two beautiful girl stamps, Muse and Portrait.

I decided to use the Muse stamp and just four...yes you heard right four Chameleon pens; Dusty Rose, Burnt Umber, Sand and Cornflower Blue to create this card.

Materials Used: Bee Paper, Memento Dessert Sand and Bahama Blue Ink, Chameleon Color Tone Pens; Dusty Rose (cheeks and lips), Burnt Umber (Hair), Sand (Skin) and Cornflower Blue (eyes and dress). Penny Black stamps Muse 40-472, Verdure 40-475, Sprinkles and Smiles 30-297, Blooming Garden 30-155 (flowers on the dress), Linen, Blue and Brown card stock, pearls and glue.

Here is another shot showing the face and hair, I really love how easy they are to color with my Chameleon pens!

Thanks for joining me today, I am so excited to have finally had the chance to play with Angela's new designs!

Hugs Cathy
