Tag it!

Oh I just love making my parcels look personal, here are a few tags that I have created using stamps from the new Penny Black Christmas range.

Both tags were stamped using images from Penny Black's Christmas with Mimi 30-079 and the sentiment is from the clear set Let it Snow 30-086.

I inked just the Penguin for the first tag and stamped him onto a white card blank oval that had been cut using a Spellbinders die, I then inked him a second time and stamped him onto a scrap piece of card - this can be easily done with a Memento Marker pen.  The first penguin was then fluffy stuff-ed all over his white middle and white flock added. I waited until this had dried before applying heat so that the raised fluff would be more even.  The second penguin was then coloured using Inktense pencils and his middle cut out (I promise you he didn't feel a thing!). This was then mounted over the top of the first penguin and his beak and eyes added (enamel accents were used for his eyes).

This was then mounted onto black card that had been cut using Spellbinders Scalloped ovals and a hole punched and ribbon from the Pretty Little Ribbon shop added.

The second tag used the snowman, he was stamped onto white card and coloured using Inktense pencils, the sentiment was added and then I used the spellbinders nesting circles to partially cut the tag (this is achieved by only allowing a portion of the die to go through your cutting machine) and then finished off by hand cutting round the snowman. This was then mounted onto Mix and Match Rose Garden Card stock 14-003 that had been cut using Spellbinders circles die.  His nose was then glossy accented for dimension, a hole punched and twine threaded.

Don't forget to check out Kathy's Mimi creation on the Penny Black blog today here.
