A Day to Celebrate

My daughter got her exam results today, and I know I am bragging, but we are really proud of her and her achievements. Needless to say, such an occasion deserves a card..so I decided to challenge myself and make a card with leftovers from a Hero Art Challenge card. (I am such a hoarder- I can't steal myself to throw anything away!)

I also met Penny today for a cuppa, I had a lovely time and she let me see her wonderful workroom (it is so organised). I hope she won't mind me sharing, but she has a really cool way of storing her glitters, she keeps them in pepper pots lined up on the desk, they look so colourful - and practical too! I had a lovely time and I hope she will be able to visit me soon.

Hi Cathy, I love the card you made, great shape and the 3-d bits are fab!

I think I blogged about the glitter early on....yes, here it is when it looked better on a shelf...I may have added a few more colours since then!!

I LOVE this card, Cathy! Way to go on using leftovers... I need to do that more, myself! And I don't balme you one bit for bragging about your daughter - what great news!

I love all of your amazing creations that you share over at the Hero Flickr group! Your style is so clean and eye-catching. And thank you for your kind comments on my and everyone's cards as well. They mean a lot! :)

I nominated you for an award on my blog today! http://my-little-ink-spot.blogspot.com/2008/08/another-blog-award.html I hope that's OK.

Have a great day, Cathy!

Gorgeous card Cathy. I love seeing all the things you create in the HA flickr group. I am a bit jealous that you got to meet Penny though. I know her through IO, and would LOVE to take a peak at her craft space!

Hi, Cathy! I got your email, and no worries. I'm sorry to hear that you were so ill! That is just awful. :( Well, take care of yourself and get better. We will all look forward to when you're up to creating again! :)

Thank you so much for your kind words. And if you need help putting the BWO logo on your site, I'd be happy to help. ;)

Take care!
