Texting Cas-ual Friday

Cas-ual Friday is having it's first challenge over on their blog here.  The brief is to make a clean and simple card using text!

It just so happened that I own a very tattered old dictionary that was screaming to be used, this is the result.

I used the  Penny Black Sundial stamp 4159K, stamped with versafine ink, it was then coloured with wild honey stain and highlighted with baked earth inktense pencil and glossy accents added.  The centre of the flower is from a vintage button stamped using stazon pumpkin ink  using the centre of the sundial stamp. The card was cut using spellbinders die.

After finishing this clean and simple version, I thought I would play with it a bit more and added some spellbinders labels die cuts to the edges of the card, this is how it turned out.

Thank you for visiting my blog and the lovely comments you leave.
