Thank you, Thank you

Today I thought I would share with you a really quick thank you card, ideal for that last minute project when time is running against you!  I also thought I would show you a clean and simple card, that tries to make the most of white space.

For this card, I simply scored a line along the outside edge of the card blank and then repeatedly stamped the leaves, from the "Trims" 30-068 set by Penny Black using two different colours of chalk ink.

I then stamped the sentiment from Penny Black's 'Flower Gallery" 30-031 set.  And added liquid pearl dots to the side of the stems to finish.

This gold card blank was edged with the Spellbinders postage border die and a plain panel of white card stitched across the top and bottom alternating with gold and black thread.

The sentiment from Penny Black's "Flower Gallery" 30-031 was then stamped to the bottom left of the card with Versafine ink. The butterfly from the "Enjoy Life" 30-032 set by Penny Black was stamped onto gold vellum twice, cut out and glued together, gold liquid pearls were added and a wire and bead body added, a dot trail was then drawn in from the sentiment.

If you are seeking more inspiration for thank you cards this week, hop on over to the Penny Black blog here, where the design team have been showcasing Christmas Thank you cards all week.

Thanks for joining me today,
Hugs Cathy

These are terrific, I think the first is my favourite - the way the tail of the 'y' loops around the leaf tip is masterful & I love the simple elegance created by the pearl embellishing. It's the pearl embellishing that is rather special in the second one too & the striking stitching.
