Sentiment is the Focal Point Card 1

This week's challenge over at Casual Friday is about having the sentiment as the focal point, details of the challenge can be found here.

Their sponsor is SRM Stickers, I was actually given a sheet of these stickers by my Good Friend Kathy Racoosin, they are the only ones I own!  So what better way to use them than for this challenge.

The sticker is from their Sticker Sentiments set No. 51006 "Thinking of You', I coloured the letters with an orange sharpie pen to give it a bit more warmth and it has been mounted onto some Penny Black 'Summer Sun' 17-001, 17-002 and 17-003 Mix and Match cardstock, that has been cut using Spellbinders nesting circles and stitched with orange thread, the suns rays are from odd strips of card that I had on my desk.

If you have time check out my other sentiment challenge post  and my Penny Black post on how to make an Easter Egg cup.

Thanks for visiting,
Hugs Cathy

Such a fun card Cathy, like you I have a few SRM stickers that Virginia sent me, I am trying to use the carefully as I know you can't get them in the UK.

I'm beginning to see a different dimension to CAS & I love the layered & sewn sunbeams. Superbly creative with those strips of card that we all gather by the trimmer/guillotine.
